Emerging from the deep black of the Stonehenge paper, the blue heron takes form in delicate yet deliberate strokes of white charcoal—a quiet apparition of grace and solitude. Every mark captures the elegance of its stance, the curve of its neck, the silent wisdom in its gaze, as if it exists between shadow and light. As I created, I felt a deep stillness, a meditative connection to the quiet resilience of this creature, a reflection of patience, poise, and the unseen strength in waiting.
