Against the deep black of Stonehenge paper, the fox emerges in soft yet striking strokes of white charcoal—its form both elusive and luminous. Every line carries a quiet cunning, a sense of movement frozen in time, as if it might slip back into the shadows at any moment. As I worked, I felt a balance of mystery and instinct, a quiet admiration for the fox’s intelligence, adaptability, and the untamed spirit that thrives in the in-between spaces.
